YOGA HOLIDAY PROGRAM6-13 SEPTEMBER 2010 ”This week Swami Nishchalananda will teach from the VIGYANA BHAIRAVA TANTRA which is a profound text written over 1.000 years ago in Kashmir. Sublime and yet very practical, it gives 112 different practices which we can apply , moment to moment, to transform the quality of our lives. It tells us: Let every situation: *Remind us of our deeper aim in life During this residential seminare, we will explore and practice selected techniques, many of which we will do outside in nature, in touch with the earth, air, water and open sky. The aim is to create a sense of Spaciousness so that participants can gain clarity in their thinking and feelings, so that they can start to open their intuitive faculties” Other forms of practice during this residential seminar will be chanting of healing Mantras, practices for harmonizing energy and group discussions. We will also practice and experiment with the ancient Japanese healing art Jin Shin, to bring peace and harmony in the body and mind." Swami Nishchalananda has a unique ability to interpret the old scriptures and make them understandable to us. This week he will teach meditation and harmony. Mouna- Silence will be practiced during the course.
